I have tried to use the Move Component icon with Collision Detection and Stop at collision both 'checked'
When I tried to move a hydraulic cylinder rod/piston assemblyso thatthe pistonwill 'hit' the rod end head, I get the following message and the Stop at collision box becomes 'unchecked' and I can just pull the rod/piston out thru the rod end head:
"The model started in a colliding position. Stop on collision has been disabled"
The parts were not in a colliding positon at least not at the present time. They may have been at one point in the past but I don't see why that should matter.
I do know that two items do interfere with each other in another subassembly of the overall assembly however those items have nothing to do with with the cylinder rod/piston and rod end head.
Help!
Thks,
George
