3D Isometric Created Dimensions

Is there a way to create dimensions in an isometric view that display in 3D representation? I think I know how to beat this. Create a datum curve that has dimensions and display the dimensions in the view. But why do something that would not really be parametric unless I created an evaluate feature? Oh ya, this is
a cardboard box made in sheetmetal. I am working in 2001.View attachment 1202

Hi donha

The way to do it is very easy.

Edit->Setup->Ref Dim

Now select plane or planar surface where you will create dimensions. For successful creating dims you should select entities which is IN or NEARselected plane or surface. In other case dims will be located in unexpected places.

I forgot one little thing: these dims you must create inMODEL and use Show/Erase button in Drawing to show Ref Dims.
