Hey ledo, not exactly sure what your after but for starters try this :
View - Display settings - Model display.
From here you get shader options, edge quality, smooth lines etc.
The shade quality is default set to 3 as to not upset anyones machines. Whenever I start pro-e I now set my to 10 straight away. I dont create Massive assembly`s so it doesnt really effect the performance of my machine. I am yet to find an "easy" way to have this set by 10 default. Cant be arsed with mapkeys
a better way to ask what you asked is how do I create a higher resolution tessellation
See, when a nurbs modeler such as Pro/ENGINEER renders to the screen it has to convert the surfaces (in Pro/ENGINEER's case parametric 3d solids model) into polygons on the fly. These polygons are typically set to a low setting so when cad managers preform bench marks with default settings the software will out preform the competitor.
I have not looked into it (maybe someone can comment) but to set the tessellation settings so Pro/E starts with those settings there would be config options. You can't set those types of settings in the start part.
The tessellation setting design-engine mentioned is controled by the edge_display_quality option in the config.pro which is the Edge Quality setting under View>Display Settings>Model Display>Edge/Line.
One thing missing in proe is the option to re-display a zoomed in part with increased accuracy to actually see what you are doing... (e.g. I-DEAS has this option)
When you are zoomed in to change a sketch in the 0.00x mm area, lines are displayed VERY inaccurately, especially on rounded curves/circles. This makes it total guesswork where to click to select your curve or draw anything...
