3D sweep how?

I would like to do a 3d sweep protrusion. I have neved done that beafore.

The problem is how should i made the correct trajectory.

I have 2 datum planeswith 90

It ~looks~ like you might be able to select the trajectory as a one-by-one
chain.

HOWEVER, look at ...

... for some additional information.

I think I might just do it as two planar trajectory features. You can(?)
project edges from the first feature to create the section for the second
feature. A single VSS will probably work as well ... would just have to try.

First, try tomake you curves so that they meet tangent instead (now it seems like curve 1 is "longer" ) . Then , when you do a Variable section sweep, you can pick on the first curve (it will be thick and red) , then holdshift keydown and pick on the first curve AGAIN, and then pick the second curve.

Proe will then recognize the second curve as tangent and add it to you sweep curve (called "origin") ...... If you hold your ctrl key down, you will add a "chain" , and thats NOT what you need , so use the shift key.

That should work.

Another way tosolve this is to copy the 2 curves first and make a aproximate curve to use as Origin .

good luck!!

I played arround and make it work. I used arc instead of chamfer (from start point in the end of line on sketch 1)to round edge on the other datum plane (sketch2).

Then i could select simply all the curves as trajectory. (ctrl + select)

Thanx for answers.

You could use the intersect feature. And just select the blue color looking curve and done. Or insert a dtm curve thru pionts. Just input your x,y,z coord. on the points table.Becuse all those curve in reality the tweak and you have to keep that in mind.
