4TH AXIS SHAFT CAM SLOT

I have found a couple of posts on this topic but just can't seem to get it to work. See the attached file. I am trying to create a slot that cuts all the way thru the shaft. Using a variable sect sweep it only lets me cut up to half way into the part. Does anyone know of a way to get this slot to cut thru the shaft? I need to rotate 180 degrees.

Createan axis pattern of the trajectory curve (wrap feature) then reference pattern the sweep and round.

Looking at this again you may want to create the slot with surfaces the use solidify.
