64 bit machine is slow on large assembly

I'm runing WF2, windows XP, Dell workstation precision 690, dual processors with 16gig of ram, 2 FX 4500 video cards. When I open "large" and I mean large assemblies, it lags when i spin, however when i run the same assembly on other machines with the same hardware, its spins like no tomorrow. I updated the video drivers. Where should i start???

Real time manipulation of the screen is a videocard issue (if it is a professional card), the processor should be very little involved. So it's probably a driver difference between 32-bit and 64-bit environment. My gut feeling would say that 64-bit is less mature.

turns out spin_with_part_entitities and spin_with_silhouettes was turned on, i turned them off and it solved my problem.

If you are to compare the performance between different workstations, try to keep some variable common, in this case the config.pro.
