When specifying the annotation plane, the Icon of "place Note flat to Screen" is gray. How to make it active? Cause it looks odd when spinning the models if select a datum plane.
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out with it.
this option willnot be active if you create note by selecting "Annotation". Rather go to Insert---Setup---notes---new. Type in your require note, click the option for "Place Note Flat to Screen" & than click on the screen where you want the note to be.
But the note is still associated with model features & will move along with the model where ever it goes, but will be always be flat to screen. Also it won;t be the part of the model tree as a feature. If you want to select or edit the note you have to select "annotation" as your selecting preference instead of "smart" from the lower right hand sideof your proe screen or go again to setup-notes & select modify.
well "Annotation" is one of theFEATURES which allows you to create note, symbols, surface finish etc.associated with other features.
While when you create note thru Insert-Setup command it is associated with the part as you can seethe 'part' in "parent" line in the note command. Well if you want the same thing associated with the feature in the model tree...........just right click the desired feature & select "Setup Note". Select the option of "Place note flat to screen" first & than you can place your note where ever you like. You can also access this note in the model tree by expanding the feature space in the model tree. This will also create a note which remains flat to the screen.........
"annotation" means the features and the notes have the parrelled relationship. while the Insert_setup and "setup note" command setup notes belongs to the features. Am I right?
BTW, it looks like you have a chinese name, are you?
