I have part with relative accuracy .0012 inch...When I am calling mergecut out from another model with same accuracy...it is asking me to change accuracy..

Any body faced this kind of problem...please help me...

go to Edit/Setup/Accuracy

and change value from .0012" to smaller amount. i just added a extra zero

for example. .00012"

While this may work, it isn't the right answer. Your model regen times will increase dramatically by increasing the part accuracy. you need to switch from relative to absolute accuracy in order to match the accuracy.

Relative accuracy is a ratio. It sets the actual part accuracy relative (hence the name) to the part size. It represents a ratio between the largest edge or dim in the part and the smallest allowed edge for new features. So, as the part grows, the smallest allowable edge grows.

Absolute accuracy sets the smallest allowed edge directly. I do not use relative accuracy because it creates far more problems than it solves. I use 0.0001" as my default absolute accuracy.
