Angle dimension on datums

OK, I've struggled too long with this and I'm going to ask the
question. When you create a datum and you select a axis and then a
datum it pops up a angle dimension but 9 times out of ten it never how
I want the angle dimension to be. Like today, I created a datum at a
angle and I wanted it at 10 degrees from the TOP datum. It throughs the
damn angle dimension on the other side of the model and if I want 10
degrees I have to swing the datum around to 170 degrees. Please tell me
there is a way to get the angle dimension to way you want it. Thanks.

That sure is silly. How hard would it be to just put in a flip button for the angle dimension, I mean COME ON!

Not when you have to double click the dimension or click in the field to change the dimension, hell if I'm oing to do all that clicking I would to just click a flip button.

well that is not all posibilities You have

the point is that it(dimension direction) depends on side of datum that it is created

so You can achieve dim on side You want just by change datum side display > datum>redifine>display>flip

but I agree with You - it should be easier though
