Hi,

If you are using wildfire 2.0 then use axis pattern to pattern it.Else you will have to create a datm plane on a fly when you are creating the feature which has to be patterned and then pattern it using dimension(the dimension that has to be selected is the angular dimension which controls the feature placement with respect to the datum plane created on fly)

Yea Axis pattern is nice (like solidworks). There are a couple other ways to create your pattern too. If deepakbhat_nie'sr way should work but if you contiue to have problems post a a picture and we will help.

Thank you Deepak and Bart for your reply.2006-09-03_225031_Angular_pattern.rar

I have created datum planes on fly and when i am selecting the component i want to pattern i could see all the dimensions except the dimension of the datum planes i have created (which should be 45 degrees from front datum plane).

Do i need adjust any settings for proe wildfire to display that dimension. please let me know.

What is axis pattern? Can anyone send me tutorial for that, if you have any.

Thanks

The problem with axis pattern is that the radial circle on which the pattern is created won't show in the drawing. If you don't need it, then use axis pattern else dimension or direction pattern is better option for creating radial patterns.

Thank you everyone. I have fixed it. But not using axis pattern.

I have created a datum plane on fly and protrusion i want to pattern and all this fall under Autogroup and then i patterned the whole group by right clicking on it and selecting pattern and now i can see the angular dimension.

Thanks!
