annotation feature display

I have tried setting up an annotation feature and

I can't get either to display on screen. I believe I'm following all steps correctly. Is their perhpas a config option I need to reset? Other suggestions???

First set the model tree to show annotations. Just to see if the notes are actually being created. When creating or redefining the note, pay attention to all the options in the dialog box.

Lastly, the note's display may be suppressed by either the environment settings or by layer status.

One thing that you need to do is to attach the note to somewhere on the part otherwise it doesn't get shown.
