Hi athul,

could you upload your shrinkwrap part here, i know lots of people here can help you rebuilding your part since you lost the reference part.Rebuilding all the missingsurfaces and gaps of a shrinkwrap part is the only way to convert your part to a solid.

shrinkwrap part is just a set of surfaces depending on the level during conversion and this is mainly used to create large assembly representation only. but in my case i always use level 1 only for faster regeneration and just add additional surfaces like solid geometry surfaces to easily convert it to a solid part whenever i need to.

If you understand that the purpose of shrinkwrapping is to loose part and/or assembly complexity you will also understand that you cannot retrieve a part from a shrinkwrap.

Of course, depending on the quality of the shrinkwrap, the number of features and the accuracy available may be sufficient to recreate the part.
