This is not ISDX - he did it exactly as the Help describes. (in Wildfire, a copied curve has the same icon as a copied surface) If this copy is a composite of different tangent segments, then it will result in a continuous spline.If that's not what you want, redefine & change to Exact.

For some reason this wouldn't work yestersday evening - I even had a witness - lol.


I dropped a group today and deleted some other bits and pieces from the file, and guess what? Yep, it worked fine.
