Ass’m dwg using prt from family table.

I am creating an asm drawing from an assembly that is driven by a family table. One of the parts within the asm is also driven by a family table.


ie, I have a cap that is welded to a body (tubing)to make up the assembly. The cap stays the same and the body length changes.


Myrepeat region in the drawinghas the asm part number, as well as the body PN.


I would like to also show the length of the body in the same repeat region. I cannot figure out how to add the length dim to the family table in the asm.

Create a parameter in your assembly and have it equal to the dimension in the part... or a paramet driven off an analysis feature
