assembly hole cutting

I have assembled a part by mating 4 pieces together. I have tehn managed to sketch a pattern for hole cutting on the assembly. I have a similarly assembled part that requires the exact same hole pattern. is there any way to repeat the original sketch pattern on the new assembly?

Open the Sketch, click tools,blocks,make block select the sketch and save out for reuse, or open sketch ctrl Copy sketch,this will place sketch on your clip board, go to new part and ctrl V you may have to re constrain the sketch, the block method is more reliable

can blocked be linked? i.e. an update to the block with
update the parts/ assemblies it is applied to?
