This one is really irritating me. I have inherited this problem

Try adding the column [type: layer > layer names] to the model tree.

Go to the offending part and the layers on which the part is added as an item should show.

Also you could use the layer search tool. In the layer tree choose [show]>find> then try out the various options.

Check up once whether it is interfering with any part. If it is interfering remove the interference or suppress the other part and check in the drawing.
