Assembly w/ multiple linkage pieces

Im working on an assembly similar to the linkage on a typical folding table. Im not really looking to do an analysis or anything, I just want to be able to fold the legs under and show how the linkage will fold up with it. I have the first piece of linkage attached to the base with a pin connection. I then have the second part of the linkage attached to the first part with another pin connection. My problem then comes when I try attach the second linkage to the leg. The leg pivots off the base on a pin connection. When I try to attach the second linkage to the leg with a pin connection, I get the status of

I think you just need to make a few more connections like you do when you create an assembly and it's not completely constrained.

A cylinder connection to the leg should be enough, because the position of the linkage in pin direction is allready defined by the firs connection.
The status message is not allways precise, perhaps it has a problem to do both pin conections all right.
