assy with point coordinates

I need to build an assembly to verify dimensions and the main parts could be attached to points in the space without modelling the actual frame the parts would be hanging on. I worked out that I could do a 3D sketch > point > enter the coordinates under Parameters and click on

Why you do not provide dimensions for your points instead to FIX it ? To fully define a point in 3D you need 3 coordinates (You know that, of course). It is a littlemore work but you gaintotal flexibility.
