Rahmanalam that looks awesome, boy I really need to sit down and learn some surfacing. Keep up the great work I can't wait to see it finished. Also are you just modeling it from a picture, or a dimensioned sketch? Again keep up the great work !!

layers-->new layer and add whatever you want to hide.

then hide this new layer and save status.

im thinking of writting a turoial for all PRO_E lovers, it will b a user friendly and well explained tutorial teaching you how to create a car of your choice. theres so many tutorials out there for rhino, studio max, cinema 4d, maya so on and so forth but not a single one that teachs how to create an accurate model of a car...so i will start this very soon
smiley4.gif
i await suggestions

Hi Rahmanalam!!!

I think It's a good idea!!!

<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Firstly thank u all for appreciating my work and giving me such good feedback, for this I really want to share with u firstly my experience as well as some tips!!
smiley2.gif

However I bee a lil busy with uni , and I take out time to do personal projects, but ill pause that for now and compose a nice tutorial that covers how we cn model a car
(1) modelling a car is a major project
(2) you are only limiting <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />ur self, by this I mean if u jus want to model the surface u cn, but if u want to take it a lil further why not model the inside!! It is all possible think about it if rhino users and studio max users cn achive it we sure can cos we USE THE MOTHER OF MODELING SOFTWARE PACKAGES HEHE!

hey i have a question...i dont have the correct terminology and i am not yet aware of teh features in wildfire 2.0
smiley5.gif
so i was wondering if hybrid modeling = ISDX +ParametricModeling in Wildfire 2.0 is simply the style feature..could you please provide more explanation

regards
smiley4.gif

If U are talking about STYLE feature, U meanonly Style and notISDX with Parametric... So ISDX is only Style and AMX = Advanced Modeling eXtension is Parametric modeling with surfaces or with solids(Variable Section Sweep,Swept Blend,Blend, Spinal Bend,Sweep,Boundary...). Hybrid modeling or Hybrid Geometry is:

1)Imported solid or surface in IGES,DXF,STEP files from other CAD system or from other Design program like Alias Maya,3D Studio Max,Cinema 4D.

2)Also U can create hybrid model with combination of laser scan+ parametric modeling + Style (ISDX)+ Restyle. But this is professional way to create hybrid geometry

More informations about ASX,AMX U can findin official site of PTC.

PS: I'm working on some sort rendering tutorial, when I catch up some free time, I will finish it and post here.
