My fellow Engineers I would like to ask for help in designing a drive system for use withsmall petrol engines that will automatically connect the petrol to its load as the speed is increased.
At engine idle speed the drive should be completely disconnected.as the throttle is opened and the speed of theengine increases the systemshould engage the output shaft and transmit the power to the load without an action being required by the operator. The Drive should be disconnected as the speed falls back to idle speed which is 2600 rev/min.
The Drive should be completely disconnected below 3000 rpm and be capable of transmiting the full engine torque above 4800 rpm.
