This just baffles me. If I create dimensions in a sketch and display those dimensions in a drawing, they are visible. And then if I suppress the feature, the dimension automatically erase and then come back when the feature is resumed. This works wonderfully.
However, this does not appear to be the case with feature notes. I though why not do the same thing for the notes I need as I do with dimensions. So I create all of these feature notes, figuring if the feature is suppressed, the notes will automatically erase.
Well, not so much. The dimensions erase as they are supposed to, but only the leader of the note is erased. I end up with this note with no leader for a feature that does not exist (as it has been suppressed).
My question to the great mind on this forum is, is there a way (config.pro option, drawing option, etc) that will automatically erase a note when the feature it is attached to is suppressed?
I know I can write a drawing program to do this magic, but I really want to avoid programming the drawing as I like to keep as much as I can in the parts.
Anyone know a way to do this?
Jim
