I have this part

On the small diameter, there is a thread going until the end of it, and AFTER that I did a rectangular cut on the tip.

On the drawing, here is what I have

The thread is displayed even where there isn't any steel !! How can I have this displayed correctly ?

I have sometimes the same problem also with threaded holes on the periphery of circular parts. The thread goes through the steel and is displayed even where there is no material.

Any ideas ?
Thanks

I did what you adviced vlad and it worked perfectly but I have a question.

In general, threads and holes are made at the last step of a part. Also, by this example, it seems that all quilts of threads must be "cut" by a surface extrude cut in addition of a volume extrude cut.

This is like doing some extra work ... Isn't there a way for Pro-E not to create a quilt where there is no material ?

Another example here ...

The thread highlighted in the 3D image appears also in the 2D where there is no material.

So in this example, I must do an additional surface cut in the main big center hole (created by a volume cut) ? Or is there a way to tell Pro-E not to do threads longer than necessary ?

Thanks
