Ball Hex Geometry

Hi All,

I'm going crazy tring to figure out the right geometry for a "ball hex."

Anyone know of any sites that I could download the geometry?

It's a hex which blends with a ball as typically seen in ball hex wrench sets.

Would greatly appreaciate any and all help.

Thanks!

Isair,

Thank you! You would think the geometry would be simple but isn't

without the proper dimensions.

No problem, glad I can help. On that site is a whole library of parts, pretty useful I would say.

It's a regular hex or allen key but it has a ball(rounded) end with an undercut to allow you to rock the hex key in the receiver (socket) of typically a screw. It allows the user to drive a screw off axis. The easiest thing is to go to a hardware store andtry one.

I know exactly what it is now.

I havemodeled something like this before. If I have some free time I will try to

model again.

Thanks,
