Basic (boxed) dimension with dual units

When I add dual dimension display to a drawing with a basic dimension, Pro/E is drawing a line through the middle of the secondary units. Anybody know how to correct this?

Try to change text_orientation optionfrom drawing dtl. There are different type of settings there for text orientation.

It doesn't mater if the test is horizontal or vertical, I get the same thing.

What I want is your parallel result. There must be some other setting that is changing the line location. I'll peck around since you got it to look correct.

Just curious. How do you get the box around the dimension?

select dimension, right click , properties and select basic.

And I asked around and got no answer why this is working in my case and yours not. Try changing dual_dimensioning to no, regenerate, then make it dual again. If you didn't tried this already

SPR 773678 had already been submitted for this issue.
In order to fix the existing drawing, add drawing option
(*.dtl)"update_drawing" set to "773678" and repaint the drawing.This is not
necessary for a new drawing.
