Beginners Sweep Help

I'm trying to create a variably curved path for a sweep. I'm new
to WildFire 2.0 and I don't know how to get started drawing the path
for the sweep function to follow. Can someone give me a
step-by-step tutorial?

Thanks!

The path looks something like the arms of the robot in the left frame:

First, is it a 2D or 3D trajectory? If it is 2D, you just draw a sketched curve. You can use a spline for free-form shapes. If it is 3D you can either make some 2D segments and then connect them with a composite curve or make a datum point array and put a datum curve through the points.

If your swept section is strictly tubular you can make a pipe feature through you datum point array without a datum curve.

Never mind my last post. I found the path sketcher at the top of
the toolbar on the right. I've never really noticed it.
Thanks for the help anyway.
