BOM Balloon in a note

Don't think there's a way to link to repeat region symbol valuesor even place symbols in notes (?).

You can attach an Offset Note to a ballon if that's any help.

You can put a part parameter into a note. (example: &part_number:1 will insert the value for part_number from the first model in the assembly.

Dailey,

I don't know of a way to put the bom balloon in a note but you can put any symbol you have in a note, so a BOM symbol would work.

You must have the BOM ballon as a user defined symbol and in session

In the note type &sym(symbol_name) i.e. &sym(bom_balloon)

The system will then prompt for the variable text part number/bom reference.

dailey,

You need to change:

 1.
The positioning point of the symbol so that it is at the bottom of the symbol

The size of the symbol instance
