Hi all,

Can anyone help me how to write relations in Table------->Repeat region------>Relations.

i dono the syntax. i want to reorder the bom items as per my requirement.

now i have the components ordered like Baseplate,AV converter, Clutch like this. but i want to order like A,B,C order...

how can i write relation or order them?

Can we control the order of the BOM table using this relation?

Thnx in advance.

You don't write a relation for the repeat region, you need to enter the sorting criteria (open Repeat Region menu, then go to #Sort Regions, pick region, #Edit, then the text editor will open and write the following:

&rpt.rel.[parameter_to_sort] Backward (to sort the region backwards - from the bottom to the top)

or

&rpt.rel.[parameter_to_sort] Forward (to sort the regionforwards - from the top to the bottom)

(Write the [parameter_to_sort] without brackets.)

If you wan't this to be done automatically, edit the repeat region as described above, save it as table file and add it to the format you use for the drawing. This way all the repeat region formatting (sorting, relations,...) will be applied from the start.
