Bom table problem, showing prt of asmbly

Hello,

I'm Jesse and i'm having some problems with a bom table.

When i made my model i used serveral assemblies and ended up putting them all together in 1 big assembly.

The problem now when i'm wanting to make an all inclusive exploded view with a bom parts table and some bom ballons. So showing the big assembly exploded and with bom balloons showing the parts that are inside the sub assemblies.

When creating a bom table it only shows all the files in the main assembly, but it doesn't show the individual files in the sub assemblies. Is there anyway to see those. Or is it best to end up just making seperate drawings of every tiny bit of an assembly. (wanted to fit everything nicely on a single a3 piece of paper :X)

So basically

I got one master assembly, some slave assemblies and all slave assemblies got some prt files etc inside them. And i want to make an exploded vieuw of the master assembly showing all the parts that are inside the slave assemblies.

Sorry for bad termonoligy, i'm not a native english speaker, and i'm only using pro engineer for about 2 weeks now :\.

Thanks for the help ^^.

There's no rule how to show the parts in the BOM: all on one sheet or separate drawings for subassemblies. Everyone (companies)makestheir own policies.

I like to have a drawing for the main assy and in BOM to show the parts and subassemblies and to make separate drawings for each one.

But sometimes Ineed to show the parts and subassemblies all on one sheet.

You can do this by using flat/recursive.

Addthe BOM thengo to table/repeat regionandchoose flat/rec item and click on the BOM on the subassembly name you want to "break". Repeat these steps for every subassembly.

Doing so the BOM shows every part in each subassemlies including the subassemblies. So I do one more thing I filter the subassemblies that I made them flat/recursive to show just the parts.

To change them back you do the same steps, go to flat/rec and click on the subassembly name.
