BOM

BONES1369

New member
Is there a way to exclude certain components in a BOM. I have a fixture with a piece part assembled. I want the piece part in the assembly so the drawing will show phantom lines for the outline, however I do not want the piece part in the BOM. I realize I can create a snapshot of it, but this is very time consuming as the fixture holds many parts and is going to be in many different views, so a snapshot would be very time consuming. Any help? WF2.0

INSERT THE BOM TABLE, THEN SELECT TABLE in the dop-down menus.REPEAT REGION, FILTERS, SELECT TABLE, AND FOLLOW THE REMAINDER TO EXCLUDE ALL ITEMS EXCEPT THE ONES YOU WANT IN THE BOM. It took me a couple tries, but I figured it out.

Too bad youdon't have the option to justhighlight the ones you want to keep.

Oops... Sorry about the caps. Do it all the time!
