Can anyone recommend a method for attaching BOM balloons or some other means of indicating on a drawing view the location of bulk items. We are using bulk items to include Torques for bolts in our BOM tables, and would like to indicate to which bolt the torque attatches.
Are you looking to have the torque values next to the
balloons? If you are, why don't you use an offset note and attach it to
the balloon? If you need to show the fasteners in certain views, you can
assemble the fasteners in the area so that it shows in the view and write a
relation in you bill of material to change the quantity to
"AR". I hope that helps.
Hi Scott,

You can create and set up you balloons as symbols. You can define it to show qty or item #and on bottom to show torque value. Then you just place your symbol on the hardware you would like...
I have also found a torque symbol (hex head with rounding arrow)on someone web site and then modified it to have a field value under it to show the torque value and then place.
