I had a friend whom was working on a custom docking station for a hp palm device, and on request they sent him a 3d model of the shell, and afew physical shell samples
Many years ago I worked for a company that built attachment for construction equiment. We were always calling the manufacturers for this info. It's very routine, so contact their engineering department and ask for it. If you have difficulty ask a dealer or the equipment owner to make the request on your behalf.
