can we export a meshed, midplane represent

Hi all,
I have a grid stiffened panel and am trying to import this from proe into an analysis software.

I tried exporting this in IGES format in proe, which works fine, but my intention is to export a midplane representation (as shown in figure). The I-section Beam is modelledby sweeping the section along the length of the beam. This beam is patterned on eitherside of the datum plane. I trimmed this panel to get one as shown in the model. However, my questions are:

-Can we extract a midplane representation of the model to be exported?
-Additionally can we extract a meshed midplane representation of the same?
-If the above are not possible can i model the panel as a surface(already modelled), mesh the surface model and export it?

Any help in this regard is appreciated. Thanks in advance.......

using idealizations and FEM you can do that. Export to NASTRAN, and ANSYS is possible.
