Chamfer dimension_Manual

Hi.........

Is it possible to give chamfer dimension manually.

At present i m manually dimensioning my drawings.In that i was not able to dimension the chamfer so i am typing the value.

I dont want to do this.

I think wat u r trying to say also is like typing the values with the dimensions right.

Probably u should ve aware of solidworks & inventor where u can give d chamfer dimensions itself. U no need to type d values like how u ve shown.

Wat u ve explained is importing dimension from the model. I know abt this. Bt i want to give it manually using the dimension tool in drawing environment.
 
can you explain, why you want to dimension chamfer manually?
you can get any format of chamfer dimension you want...
Its right that its not same like othe softwares...but pro-e is different...correct way is to show dimension from model in drawing...
 
+1 Wherever possible you should display the dimensions from the model. In fact you should consider not doing fully dimensioned drawings at all but manufacture from the model. We call this "Drawing Free Manufacture" although a Keypoint drawing is still produced to provide finish data and other items not on the model (STEP format). Still it depends on what you are making.
