chamfer in an elbow

I've got an 8 inch schedule 40 elbow drawn and a hole in the middle of the elbow. for a 3/4 threaded O'let. cannot figure out how to get the inside edge to chamfer because of the geometry. trying with the chamfer feature it just comes up with "could not build chamfer due to geometry condition. also tried doing it with a swept cut following the outline of the hole but it always has some sort of error. any help would be greatly appreciated

I would create a sketch perpendicular to the axis of the 3/4" hole, draw a triangle representing the desired chamfer and then do a revolve-cut, adjusting the dimensions until you get what you need.

This technique is not only a simple solution, but will provide you with the "real-world" chamfer, the way it really would be an the actual part.

Hope that helps...
