chamfer to another edge.

When placing a chamfer, is there a way to select a single edge to reference for distance without manually measuring it?

I choose chamfer, select the edge to work with, and now I get drag handles. In my mind, I should be able to grab a drag handle, and move it to reference an edge.

Is there a way to do this?

You can select apoint/vertex as a reference. So if you have an edge you could just select a vertex on that edge to control the size. Or you could create a point (on the fly) on the edge to reference.

Do this by going into the "Sets" tab and changing "Value" to "Reference" then select the reference.

While you are using the drag handle just hold down the shift key and it will allow you to select a vertex.
