When I imported a acad view into pro-e to create a 3d object, the object lines are black. is there a way of changing the color or eliminating the lines all together once the object is drawn?
. Your creating a model, and when in sketcher mode you areImporting Data From File - selecting your acad file... and the sketch data comes in Black ?
Or.. do you mean when you have created your 3d part from these sketches, you want to hide the original sketch ? Right click the sketch in your model tree and Hide ?
upon importing into proe there are several things you can do to the curves.
First you can redefine the import feature and delete the curves. Choose one and hit the delete key. There are other ways to make selection sets but thats different depending upon what version of Pro/E you are on.
Color change. Try this. Select one black line. There are two ways to make a selection. One a bold red highlight and a less obtrusive red selection. You want the latter. Select the line ... right hold down and choose properties. You should be able to figure out how to change color from that dialog.
If you import your data from file as curves in your model. You should be able to change the color of the curves, put them on a layer, hide them, delete them.......
