Change Surface color.

Is it possible to set your own surface color as a default.

Normaly when you ceate a surface it picks up the model color.

Can you change that color so it stands out against the solid parts of the model?

Thankyou.

When your model is not shaded, your surfaces will show up in either yellow or magenta...depending on if it is a closed or open ended surface. If you want to change the default colors in 2001....go to: View>display settings>Entity colors and then you can change the default.

The default color is set by the geometry color.

You can set the color of the part individually or its surfaces individually in View>color and appearance.

I use this when makinf a UDF form to show excluded areas.
