One of my parts has changed the color of dimensions into a purple color inpart design mode. When I try to edit the model, the dimensions update but the model remains the same. I
appears you have a flaw in the part. Probably some references are lost. Open the part on it's own and make sure it is fine. Perhaps you made the part in the assembly and something changed at the last regen? checked the global reference viewer?
