Changing color of part for cav. and core

Adam P.

New member
Is there a way to change the color of sfc's just in the cavity side of a part and change the color of sfc's that are in the core side? WIthout having to select them one by one? Can I do this without having the mold package?

I am using WF4.

Thanks in advance.

Two things come to mine.

First, if you just need an image, a draft check with a screen shot ought to do it.

Second, look into the silhouette surface trim. I don't recall the exact menu sequence, but a help search should get you there. You create a copy of all the model surfaces (by 'solid surfs') and then us the silhouette trim to split it into two halves.
