is there a way to get any given feature to print todif color

example my datum color prints brown and i want it black or blue

can this be done through a pen table or other?

On the top toolbar, select View, Display settings, System colors. Adjust the colorsthe way you want them, then select File, Save on the toolbar of the "system colors" window. Then, set the config.pro option system_colors_file to point to the file you just saved.

well im half way there i got the datums to change and save color but

not sure why its not saving datum tag color but this is what im trying to change

Datums and their tags are the same color. I don't know of any way to change that. You could create a datum curve, which is just the flat line, and add the text "@[-C-@]" to it. Then you could change the color of the flat curve and the text.

so here is a better pic of what i am doing

datums are yellow tags are blue

i have turned the datum vis to always on while in part mode so that in drawing it automatically comes in but all other datum tags remain blue but when switched to always on it goes yellow
