Hello everyone,

I'm checking-in asm and partsin CS but it's giving me conflict message "dependency of this object not available in commonspace". What does this mean and how do I resolve this conflict? I tried renaming in proe and it still giving me the conflict.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

Try to check external dependency of your proE model.

To do it, use the depandency analysys tool in proE or modelcheck.

Check if there is no link to an exchange assembly.

Check for a ghost model in your workspace. If you have one, update it or delete it. Should check in then.

We have had this same issue. Sometimes not as simple as it sounds.

When you look at the parts on your workspace filter then to look for incomplete dependencies. You can add a placeholder when checking in...If it works. We have had problems with this also.

Another thing.

If you have advanced assembly. Try using Global reference viewer. This will itentify items in a tree which are linked. This is very helpful.

We have another problem. We cannot check items out correctly. There is something corrupting our database..You do have to hand it to PTC!!
