children Handeling

I am deleting a surface ... say feature 120 of 500. There are a lot of dependencies and I plan on wading thru the failing features. My problem is since there are 40 dependent children features i have to choose 'suspend' as opposed to 'delete' on every one of them. Is there a better way to choose Suspend over delete? WF2.0 BTW ... and I answered my own question. I did not know you could shift select all those and right click... then choose Suspend to get them all. I guess I should delete this post but its funny ...

Actually, I think the 'better way' of handling orphans is to
avoid their creation. If you intend to delete a feature find
it's dependents and reroute them. Once there are no
dependents, delete the feature.

Parent-child relationships can sure be a real pain in Pro/E but sometimes very strong functionality as well.

Children handeling is something not always so easy to learn, both in Pro/E and in real life.....

This has to be the funniest thread on MCad Central todate.

But I wasnt sure if the IT police would let me go to a thread with such a non-'P.C.' title!
