Closing complex open sketches

This happens quite often, I'll import a closed sketch to create a feature (e.g. an extrude profile) but when it arrives in Pro E sketcher, it is shown to have multiple open ends. This has also happened when importing closed sketches that have been created in pro e sketcher.

Usually if it's a fairly simple sketch I'll just go around trimming lines and replacing the lines using the line tool manually. This is fine for simple sketches but can be quite time consuming with more complicated sketches (see example pic).

Does anyone know of a quick way you can maybe select some or all of the open geometry and close the sketch? I'm using WF4 but I swear there was a "weld" command that did a similar job in an earlier ProE version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt there is. You can amke composite curve and then use it in sketcher by Use edge tool. long work around I know

suppose same - composite curve - you cam make in sketcher by Edit > Convert to > Spline

no extra "welding" tool though

Import the .dxf, Create a new sketch within Pro/E, then use the use edge tool within the sketcher selecting the loop option. This usually closes the sketch.

I love it

Maybe, for those parts you need to try reducing the ProE accuracy setting? Edit/Setup/Accuracy, normally .0012.
