I don't use colors in my parts much beyond the basic features, so I do not have a lot of experience in this area.
In the current assembly I wanted to havecomponentswith different colors so I changed them in the assembly mode. Later I needed one of theparts color changed so the part is one color andall surfaces are another (this will be the visible color). This allows for future cuts (engraving) to show up as the original part color. This can not be done at the assembly level so I did it in the part model. Now the color changes do not propagate up to the assembly.
How do I cancel the assmbly level color assignments? And how do I get colors to propagate up or down in assemblies?
I am using WF2 build 280, haven't tried it in WF4 yet
