Coloring a machine cut

kc1876

New member
I am on WF2 and I seem to have forgotten how to do this. In an assembly, I

used to simply change the color of a machine cut. Now I cant seem to be able

to do it. How do I change the surface color of a machine cut?

Thanks..........

1) In 2001, go to View, Model Setup, Color and Appearance.

2) Select the color you want the CUT to be in. In the box Set Object Appearance,
the menu is in <Part> and click Set.

3) Now select another color for your PART to be in. In the box Set Object Appearance,
click <Surfaces> from the pull down menu.

4) In the menus that pop up, go to click Solid Surfs.

5) Select on the part and click Done Select > Done then click SET > Close.

This steps are for parts but, seeifthey can help you remember some. I think the stepsare very similar to WF2.
