Colours - using .map files

Roxel

Hi, i want to set a library of colours up. I am running ProENGINEER 2000i, super old edition! I can save a colour thati produce as a .map file and hence call 'aluminium' or 'delrin' etc etc. When i start a new session these colours are obviously not there (i.e. just the default entry is there). How do i bring a saved colour into session. There seems to be no option to bring the saved colour into play! Any help appreciated!!

when you have a colour set up, save the colour file (think default is appearance.*) and then use the config.pro option, i think its pro_colormap_path, and set it to look at the directory where you have saved the colour map to

Hope this helps you
