Hi, where can I find W3 model of a comp spring with var
pitch on both ends? I forgot how to do it in ProE.
Any tips?
Thanks

Helical Sweep > Variable

if You want to make it flexible then appropriate relations must be written

Download a proe model of a spring from century spring. They
have them already built with options like 'closed and
ground', 'length', 'pitch', etc. built into the parameters.

Hi
You can sketch a line then variable section sweep for a line that has variable angle function(for example sd5=360*trajpar*no_turns) done. Then go to Insert--model graph----graph.
give it a name(for example var). Draw a nonlinear graphs at both ends but linear in the middle, add a coordinate system then save it.Move the graph feature from the tree before the variable section sweep. Go back to the line where you put the relation (sd5) modify it to become (sd5=360*evalgraph("var",trajpar)*no_turns).

I had gone through your post, The spring that you required covers implementing flows in end-user applications and working with the feature set, It also covers extending the frame work and the over all architectural model, There are many companies providing details regarding the task.
