Companies with Windchill

Our company implemented WindchillOnDemand last year and we are having a lot growing pains....mainly the speed is our biggest concern.

I am looking for othercompanies, about the same size as us (310 employees) that have implemented Windchill OnDemand, so that we could discuss concerns with the speed of this product

Feel free to email me at [email protected], send me a private message through this site, or just respond to this thread. Thanks.

I see a lot of people are reading, but seem hesitant to give the information out. I promise that I am not a salesman and I'm not get some business out of you.

I just want see what problems you are having with Windchill OnDemand implementation. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We are a much smaller company and we have a lot more problems than speed with OnDemand. We have a lot of dropped connection problems with it. PTC and our VAR have pretty much concluded it is on their end and not us. We are not happy at all with it because we will lose connection and be unable to use the service for hours. We like the functionality of Windchill, when it works, but we do not like the OnDemand service and wish we would have gone with the on-site one.

We have installed Windchill about 3 months ago and the negative hit was incredible. I know that all the hardware had to be changed even though PTC subcontractors had said that the original hardware was sufficient. If you are still on time to save your company money and efficiency, keep away from it. It is pure CRAP.
