Thanks for the reply. Ive been busy doing the job in 2001 since.


Anyway, the system seems only allows selection of the surface, not its edge.


Ido not want a copy of the surface, only its edge!


IfI could select it, next thingI need to do is to trim it (old trim/extend option) by its intersection with another surface / datum.


any ideas?

Pick the surface (model is red) - move the cursor - pick the edge (edge is red) then ctrl+C and ctrl+V.Trim or extend it you can by drag of the ends. Or References > Details > Options.

select a curve.


edit->copy


edit->paste.


if the curve having more no of parts,


then select starting curve and press shift (not ctrl)+select the curve.


now it will select hole curve.


now same as above (copy,paste)
