I know it's not on topic, sorry... Could you please tell me if there is a way to learn ProE without first buying it? Thanks!

To Smeling: I was simply asking for help in an active forumbecuase I do not have proE nor access to it, and they don't offer a trial download like some other software does. (I am a beginner, as you say, and I am sure you were once, too.

They have a student edition of wildfire 2.0 that includes mechanica. It is also
available for professionals (personal use only). It will not allow you file
interchange with wildfire, but for a couple of hundreds dollars, including a
couple of pdf tutorials, the price is hard to beat.
